Things have been super-busy, and I need to update the newspaper and reviews section, but I have way too much reading to do, so oh well. Mostly, I’m just trying to finish Assassin’s Creed. I still enjoy it a lot, but it annoys me how tough it is to assassinate someone. Don’t get me wrong, I love having 20 minute duels with about 30 guys, where they each attack me one by one until I kill the leader. I love it so much it only makes me a little angry. Still, it would be nice if I could break through the line of guards onto the scaffolding and wrist-knife that asshole in the neck. But no, I try to break through, or draw my throwing knife, or do anything besides chill in “priest mode,” and every single guard turns angry-red. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Seriously, let me assassinate somebody in a way that doesn’t remind me of Blood 2 or Quake. You, know, surprising, or stealthy or…. anything! Whatever. More later on all of my exciting exploits.

Drake’s Fortune
Posted by deckard47 on December 3, 2007
Alright, I just finished Drake’s Fortune, and although I am too lazy to review it right now (and by too lazy, I mean I am going to back back and unlock more rewards by shooting guys with specific weapons!), I thought I would let you know a thing or two about it. It kick’s ass, there isn’t another way to put it (or if there is, mine is better). It’s fun, beautiful, smooth to play, and has a pretty decent plot, when you get down to it. The gunplay is really amazing, it’s hard to describe how smooth and fun it is. The voice-acting is perfect for what the game is aiming for, and the endgame is fun, if a bit silly.
Oh, and I am 2 assassinations into Assassin’s Creed, and it is still, quite excellent. People who say otherwise are silly. Finally, Motorstorm is fun, but I can’t beat this one level. Grrr. Back to work now?
