Delayed Responsibility

I Shouldn't Be Gaming Right Now… But I Am!

About Me

I’m a freelance video games journalist and graphic designer living in New Haven, writing about video games, and trying to convince everyone around me to play them. I write articles for various places like Game Set Watch and Popmatters. This is my blog, which will hopefully mature as I do. Feel free to leave a comment about something you did or didn’t like. Enjoy.

Hey man, just followed a link to your blog from God-Knows-Where (it’s 3am) and wanted to let you know I was going to add you to my blogroll. We budding gamer intellectuals need to band together before NYU’s new video game studies program starts churning out graduates. Hit up my schoolwork blog at if you get a chance, even though I only have time to write school assignments right now (durrrrrrrr) and some of them can get kind of boring/pedantic.

Just wanted to say I truly enjoyed your Prince of Persia article on Gamasutra. I happened to go to college in New Haven and now work as a designer/producer at a small developer in New York. From one gamer to another, here’s to wishing you the best of luck in games journalism and beyond. Look forward to reading your work!

I also wanted to say thanks for your article on Gamasutra, but about the space marines needing dialogue trees. The goat and the guy made me laugh inside a video I saw on Gametrailers for No One Lives Forever, so thanks for getting me to think about that game. First time for me.

Have you tried some Persona 4? I’ve dived into it a bit, but I need to get back I guess. Some of the dialogue options in that made me laugh so far.

I think your posts are funny, and so keep ’em going.

I’ve been looking through your blog and I am so impressed! I’ve just started up my own gaming blog and I really would love to at some point reach the level you’re at! I’ve added your site to my blogroll and I keep searching through all your reviews etc. If you have any suggestions for me on how to branch out and get a good readership/get some writing/review jobs that would be so awesome, and please check out my site if you have a chance!

Thanks! Keep up the great work!
